In a moment which mirrored the late Rob Burrow being carried across the Leeds Marathon finish line by Kevin Sinfield, Houghton emotionally pushed her husband in a wheelchair during a 178-mile charity walk to Anfield in March. There's no cure for MND, but there are treatments to help reduce the impact it has on a person's daily life.
