Former Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam has left his role as manager of League Two team Fleetwood Town
The journey has to come an end for former Liverpool midfielder Charlie Adam as manager of League Two club Fleetwood Town. The ex-Scotland international was relieved of his duties after a disappointing start to the season. Adam, 39, played for the Reds during the 2011/12 season . Retiring at boyhood club Dundee two-years ago, he has gone on to forge a career in management with his first job at Fleetwood Town starting 12 months ago. They were in League One at the time, although he was unable to fend off relegation with that confirmed in May, and their poor form has continued into the fourth tier of English football - winning only one of their last 12 - which has forced the club into a difficult decision this Sunday.
