I should have gotten into a taxi instead, but I didn't.Depay issued an apology on Instagram after bein handed his sentence on Wednesday'That's why I want to apologise and take full responsibility for my actions. 2024 was a year of lessons and I will definitely learn from this.

However, Depay's stay in Manchester was a miserable one as he scored just seven goals in 53 appearances before departing after two years to join Lyon.
