Former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly nearing a return to professional football.

Al-Qadisiyah are in the second tier of the Saudi Arabian football system. The club recently won the Division One title to confirm their promotion to the Saudi Pro League for next season. After leaving United in 2018, less than 12 months later Mourinho was taking on the manager's job at Tottenham Hotspur. He spent 18 months in charge of Spurs before leaving the North London club just days before he was due to take charge of the team in the 2021 Carabao Cup final.
