Andrew Bogut has lashed out at Basketball Victoria and Basketball Australia for 'sacrificing the sanctity of female sport' by accepting an application for a transgender athlete to play in a women's competition.
The transgender athlete is likely to join the Kilsyth women’s team in the NBL1 South basketball league for the 2023 season after an application was made to Basketball Victoria.

It makes me sad reading the majority of comments you receive on your tweets. Does it make you sad? Or do you enjoy the power you have to cultivate hatred in the world?” they tweeted.
