Todd Greenberg has become the first person to oversee the NRL and Cricket Australia, after being appointed the latter’s new CEO. Greenberg was confirmed as the new Cricket Australia boss on Tuesday, in a move that will see him replace outgoing CEO Nick Hockley in March.

“This is an extremely exciting time for cricket with the rapid growth of the game across the globe creating fantastic opportunities, while also presenting some challenges to ensure Australian cricket retains its position at the very peak of the game.” Greenberg had long been expected to be a future CA chief executive since the time he took over the players’ union in early 2021.
