Palmer-raised wrestler Luke Peltier was a passenger in a vehicle that was run into a ditch last week in Utah.
ANCHORAGE, Alaska - On the evening of July 17 near Richfield, Utah, Palmer -raised Luke Peltier was a passenger in a Jeep when it drifted into the shoulder of the left lane.“She overcorrected, and they went straight across across the two lane highway to the other side off a bank, and then the Jeep rolled and they were both ejected,” Peltier said Monday in an interview with Alaska’s News Source.Ken’s son was a 20-year-old sophomore who attended Snow College in Ephraim, Utah.
Peltier was well known and developed many connections with his coaches, teammates, and teaching others. Luke had started spending his summers as a whitewater rafting guide for Big Rock Adventures along with some wrestling teammates — something new that he enjoyed.
