20 new apartments are being built on the former site of the Farmers Arms pub on Mossborough Drive
The site of a former pub is undergoing a huge transformation as work progresses on a new £2.6m housing development in Kirkby . Situated where the old Farmers Arms pub used to be, the land on Mossborough Drive will soon have 20 new affordable homes on offer. The development will include a mix of one and two-bedroom 'cottage-style' apartments, each with its own front door at street level.
Yvonne Westhead-Fyles, Director of Development at Livv Housing Group, said: 'The Mossborough Drive development, with its charming cottage-style apartments, will breathe a new lease of life into a site that’s lay dormant for some time.
