Former Trump communications director Hope Hicks testifies in hush money trial as the ninth witness in Trump's Hush Money trial.

The jury in Donald Trump ’s hush money trial heard testimony Friday that Trump was aware of the payment to silence Stormy Daniels from telling her story about a one-night stand with the married Trump at a Utah golf resort a decade before he ran for president in 2016.

"I’d say that would be out of character for Michael" to make the Daniels payment himself, Hicks told the jury. "I didn't know Michael to be an especially charitable person or selfless person." In Hicks’ first written press statement, after the tape went public, Trump diminished his comments as "locker room banter."
