The victim reported to authorities at the time that she fell asleep on a couch in Wood's basement and was awakened by Wood, where he began touching her and asking her to "make out" with him, telling her that he "had been in love with her since the day they met," according to the charges. The Utah Highway Patrol stated that they learned about the allegations a year later when the victim came forward.
