After previously losing over 50 stone, he has now returned to his bad habits and is back up to 36 stone

A man who used to weigh 70 stone has begged the NHS for help after he ballooned back up to an unhealthy weight.

But a series of negative events saw the former fattest man in the world returning to his bad habits and he went back up to 36 stone. Mr Mason, from Ipswich, claimed a woman he was sharing a home with at the time was hooked on opioids and would send him out to shoplift.He said he is determined to get his health back : ‘The NHS have saved my life time and again. I could be dead without them.‘I’m determined to get my health back so I don’t let them down – I just need them to help me one last time.’
