Former WWE Champion Wants to Face John Cena on Retirement Tour

A former WWE champion and current superstar wants to battle it out with John Cena during his 2025 retirement tour.

After more than 22 years on WWE television, John Cena is finally calling it quits.In a surprise appearance at SummerSlam 2024, Cena announced that he is retiring from professional wrestling. However, he revealed that he'll be going out with a bang.Starting January of 2025, Cena will take part in a retirement tour where he'll spend the entire year with WWE, saying thank you to the company and fans that made him who he is today.

'Cena is coming back for his year-long return which is going to be awesome,' Mcintyre said. 'I don't know if I'm figured in the plans, but I guarantee I'll be pushing and I'll be nudging them left and right to make it happen because the amount of stories I've got about Punk and things that happened when I was younger, I've got tenfold on him.''There's never been a one-on-one match,' McIntyre continued.
