Jarrett Lane, 19, faces charges of murder and assault causes bodily injury in connection with the fatal March 5 shooting, a police report said.
He is listed in court records as Jareet Lane and is being held in Tarrant County custody with a $352,500 bail.Officers responded to the area about 3:30 p.m. near the interchange of Interstate 820 and Interstate 30 to investigate and found Damarreon Barnett with multiple gunshot wounds to his torso, Fort Worth police officials said.
The suspects left the scene before officers arrived, police officials said, and Barnett was taken to a hospital, where he died. A police report said the shooting took place in the parking lot of a business in the 6700 block of Bridge Street.on a murder charge. Court records say he is in Tarrant County custody.
