Investigators believed a motorist collided with a second vehicle carrying multiple passengers before leaving the area on foot, according to police.One of the passengers in the second vehicle was pronounced dead at the location, police said. She was identified by the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office as 30-year-old Meagan Roiter.
In a post to X, formerly known as Twitter, the Fort Worth Police Department announced the unborn child of the vehicle’s driver also died. Two people were hospitalized with injuries that authorities said were not life-threatening.
