A Crowley ISD spokesperson did not immediately return an email request for comment Monday.Bass was a good father with a good heart, one of his sons, Michael Bass, told KXAS-TV .
The suspect approached Bass and Bass said “something to the effect of, ‘Boy, stop playing with that gun before you shoot someone,’” an officer wrote in the affidavit.Jail records in Lowndes County, where Xavier Bass was arrested Saturday, list him as still in custody as of Monday.
