Police said their investigation showed the adult male victim was sitting his car when he was shot at least once by an unknown suspect.police are investigating a Friday shooting in which a man was shot in his car and later died from his injuries.
Per the Fort Worth Police Department, officers were called to the 1000 block of NW. 16th Street shortly after 8:30 p.m. to investigate reports of a shooting. Upon arriving the scene, police said, officers found an adult male suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Officials transported the victim to a local hospital, but he did not survive his injuries.
Police said their investigation into the incident showed that the victim was sitting his car when he was shot at least once by an unknown suspect. The Fort Worth Police Department said its homicide unit is investigating the incident and is currently pursuing"several leads" in its ongoing investigation into it.
