Epic Games explained this was to compensate for the lengthy queue times, although they hadn't announced these additional shows beforehand. However, it's likely these were somewhat pre-planned. Considering that the Fortnite downtime for the commencement of Chapter 6 starts at 10pm EST / 7pm PST or 3am GMT, the game will be offline for the update during the time of The Big Bang's second show.
