Epic Games implemented new prices of Fortnite V-Bucks on Friday but made a huge mistake, allowing players to get them cheap.
New Fortnite V-Bucks prices kicked in on Friday in many countries. Epic Games adjusted the price of Fortnite’s premium currency due to inflation and other economic factors. Due to this, many players now have to pay slightly more than they did in the past. Epic announced the increase of V-Bucks prices last month, allowing players to stock up on them before the new prices kick in. Unsurprisingly, many players use this time to purchase big V-Bucks packs and save a few dollars.
However, players from Hungary had a chance to grab a 13,500 V-Bucks pack for only $0.25. The biggest pack of V-Bucks costs $89.99 in the US, but it appears that Epic Games accidentally made its price 89 Hungarian Forints as well. Considering that one Forint is worth only 0.0028 US Dollars at the moment, the pack cost only $0.25. Prices for Hungary in-game and in console stores were also inaccurate when implemented.
