Forward progress has stopped in the brush fire burning close to home in Concord and Bay Point, CAL FIRE officials said Friday night.
Contra Costa Fire has issued an evacuation order for residents in parts of Concord and Bay Point due to a brush fire Friday afternoon.The so-called Point Fire started Friday afternoon off Evora Road in Bay Point and it spread rapidly.
"Policeman was out there and we all got drenched with that red stuff, that's when I decided to leave," Schwartz said.
