Earlier this week the experienced goalkeeper announced he was ending his retirement after just six months to pull on a Wrexham shirt again. It is the 39-year-old’s second spell at the Racecourse Ground after a loan stint with the Welsh outfit in 2005, where he helped the club win the LDV Vans-sponsored EFL Trophy and then earned a transfer to Manchester United.It’s fair to say, then, that the place holds some good memories for Foster, and he was all too happy to help out the club as they aim to return to the Football League after they lost No.1 keeper Rob Lainton to injury.
