Former First Minister Baroness Arlene Foster refused to do shared press conferences with Deputy First Minister Michelle O'Neill for two months in the aftermath of the Bobby Storey funeral, the Covid-19 inquiry heard on Tuesday.
Evidence heard by the inquiry on Tuesday said that the relationship between Foster and O'Neill became 'difficult' as a result of the then Deputy First Minister's attendance at the funeral. When questioned by Counsel to the inquiry Clair Dobbin KC that it was Foster's decision to halt the joint press conferences, O'Neill said that was the case.
