A man is fighting for his life in hospital after the incident
Police officers descended on Westminster Bridge in central London before cordoning it off to the public when a man was found with stab injuries. It has been reported how a man was stabbed in front of horrified tourists this morning, with police confirming he is currently in critical condition and fighting for his life. Metropolitan Police confirmed three people have been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and a fourth has been arrested on suspicion of affray.
Two of them been taken to hospital for minor facial injuries. A road closure is in place. Enquiries continue.' Police confirmed to MyLondon the incident is not being treated as terror-related, Photos from the scene show police vehicles at the scene as well as Transport for London incident response vehicles. Witnesses on scene say 'hundreds' of cops have descended on the bridge and that a cordon has been put in place.
