Liverpool return to action a week today when they welcome Chelsea to Anfield for an eagerly anticipated Premier League encounter. The Reds will be favourites after a storming start to the season under new head coach Arne Slot that sees them top the early table.
And, given it was the fifth time the pair have been booked in the Premier League this season, it means the key duo will be missing when Chelsea make the trip to Anfield next weekend. Also ruled out is midfielder Omari Kellyman, who is still waiting to make his Chelsea debut after arriving from Aston Villa in the summer having picked up a hamstring injury last month. There is also a doubt over another midfielder, Carney Chukwuemeka, who has missed Chelsea's last two matches through illness.
