A 14-year-old boy remains in police custody, Leicestershire Police said
Four out of five children who were arrested on suspicion of murder after an 80-year-man was allegedly attacked while walking his dog in a park have been released with no further action.
Five children – a boy and a girl aged 14 and a boy and two girls aged 12 – were arrested on suspicion of murder on Monday. The force said it is continuing to carry out enquiries to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. Detective Inspector Emma Matts, senior investigating officer, said: “The circumstances surrounding Mr Kohli’s death are extremely tragic and upsetting not only for his family and friends but also the wider community.
