The UK is bracing for a -5 snow bomb as weather maps and charts signal a wintry blast could envelop the nation post-Christmas. WX Charts, utilising Met Desk data, forecasts a chilly grip tightening on January 24, with Scotland, Northumbria, Cumbria, Tyne and Wear and North Yorkshire expected to see sub-zero temperatures. Scotland faces up to an 80% likelihood of snow by 6pm on January 24, reports Birmingham Live.
He continued: "Additionally, they also show snow and widespread snow possibilities for several days after this and in parts quite far south at times from later on in the period too ."
