Downs joins the roster after spending his freshman season at Alabama where he recorded a team-high 107 tackles along with 3.5 tackles for loss, four pass breakups and two interceptions. He’s one of two players on the list entering this season as their first on new teams after transferring. For Egbuka that also means indivudatlly following a year plagued by injuries holding him to just 41 catches for 515 yards and four touchdowns. He’ll look to return to what he was in 2022 when he became the ninth wide receiver in school history to have a 1,000-yard season. His 1,151 yards is the sixth most in a single season.
