Emergency service crews were called to the scene on Thursday evening
Police, paramedics and firefighters were called to the incident in Church Street, in Ainsworth, at about 9.50pm on Thursday . The crash involved two cars, according to Greater Manchester Police.
Four people were injured and received treatment at the scene, according to North West Ambulance Service . Their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.It has not been confirmed whether any arrests have been made. Video footage shared on social media showed firefighters at the scene, near to the junction with Harley Avenue, along with a car that appeared to be badly damaged.
A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service said: “At around 9.50pm on Thursday, August 1, two fire engines from Bolton Central and Bury fire stations as well as the enhanced rescue unit from Leigh fire station were called to reports of a crash involving three cars on Church Street, Ainsworth.
“Four people were treated by fire service trauma technicians before being handed to the care of colleagues from North West Ambulance Service. Crews worked alongside Greater Manchester Police to make the vehicles are surrounding area safe and were in attendance for around two hours.”
