There are plenty of romantic destinations to explore that are just a stone's throw away
Finding the perfect honeymoon destination can be a difficult decision to make, but it turns out that some of the most romantic spots are right here in Scotland.
Other popular destinations for newlyweds include Plockton in the Highlands and Crail in Fife, according to searches on Google for honeymoons. Meanwhile, Portree is the largest town on the northern Isle of Skye and has breathtaking views of the Cuillin Mountains, the sea and is home to quaint shops and restaurants to explore. Its colourful pier is fringed by cliffsides that host the scenic Scorrybreac walking trail.
Scotland’s third popular honeymoon destination and 31st in the UK is Crail in Fife. Couples can explore Crail’s cobbled streets, historic buildings, and traditional pubs and restaurants.
