Rochester police arrested four teens after a police chase through the city that involved a stolen vehicle that was stolen on South Avenue Saturday afternoon.

Around 1:30 p.m., officers responded to the area of South Avenue and Woodbury Boulevard for a report of a robbery. Once there, officers located the victim who was robbed, a 23-year-old man from Ontario County who said he was assaulted and stabbed by a group of teenagers. The victim also claimed the teens stole his car and fled the area.
Officers say the man was suffering from a minor cut to the lower body, which he sustained during the assault.Around 6 p.m., officers on patrol on Lake Avenue and State Street located the stolen vehicle that had been stolen earlier Saturday afternoon. Officers said when they attempted to initiate a traffic stop, the vehicle did not stop, and a pursuit was initiated. During the pursuit, a car struck another vehicle that was traveling eastbound on Lake Avenue, according to police.
No one was injured in the crash. The suspect's vehicle continued southbound on State Street, heading towards downtown. That's when officers said the vehicle had lost control while turning onto Exchange Street and Ford Street. The car jumped two curbs, which made it immobile.There were no injuries to anyone during the police pursuit.________
