BREAKING: Fourth man jailed for 'robbing' cop has conviction overturned nearly 50 years on.
A fourth member of the so-called Stockwell Six has had his conviction quashed by the Court of Appeal.
The group, who became known as the Stockwell Six, were accused of trying to rob British Transport Police officer Detective Sergeant Derek Ridgewell.This was despite them telling jurors that police officers had lied and subjected them to violence and threats. Courtney Harriot, Paul Green and Cleveland Davidson, now in their late 60s, saw their convictions ruled unsafe by the court in July.
