The Park Ridge Park District is hosting a fireworks show at Maine East High School at 2601 Dempster Street, Park Ridge, on July 3. At 6:30 p.m., a DJ will host an interactive dance party. No alcoholic beverages or grills are allowed. Parking passes are $25 for residents and $35 for non-residents and can be boughtThe village of Niles is hosting a Fourth of July parade starting at 8:45 a.m. at Notre Dame College Prep, 7655 W. Dempster St., Niles.

The Niles Park District will host a post-parade celebration at Grennan Heights from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m., featuring games, food, a raffle, entertainment, music and more.from July 3 to July 6 at Harrer Park and Harrer Pool at 6250 Dempster St., Morton Grove. A parade will take place on July 4 at 2:30 p.m. and run westbound on Dempster Street, starting at Frontage Road near the Edens Expressway and ending at Ferris Avenue. Fireworks will start at 9:30 p.m.

The Skokie Park District will host a fireworks parade and festival from 6:30 to 9:45 p.m. at Niles West High School, 5701 W Oakton St., Skokie. The festival will start off with a ’70s funk band, then switch over to a ’90s band at 8 p.m. The fireworks show will start at 9:30 p.m.
