Arkansas State Police have announced that a fourth victim from the Fordyce mass shooting on Friday has died.
Fourteen people were shot after the incident at the Mad Butcher grocery store, including 11 civilians and two officers. The victims who were killed as a result of the shooting are as follows:The other civilian victims that were injured consist of five women and two men, ranging from 25 years of age to 65 years of age.
Four of the victims remain hospitalized, with one woman being in critical condition at UAMS in Little Rock. Three of the civilian victims received treatment at the Dallas County Medical Center on Friday and were released that same day. Officer James Johnson of Fordyce Police Department suffered a gunshot wound and was released earlier this evening after being treated. John Hudson of Stuttgart Police Department received only minor injuries.the suspected shooter, will now be charged with four counts of capital murder with additional charges pending.
After being treated for non-life threatening injuries, Posey was released to ASP custody before being transported to the Ouachita County Detention Center.
