Tras más de dos años de negociaciones, los países ricos y pobres han fracasado —por ahora— en su intento de llegar a un plan sobre cómo podrían responder de manera conjunta ante la próxima pandemia.
“No estamos donde esperábamos estar cuando iniciamos este proceso”, dijo, y añadió que finalizar un acuerdo internacional sobre cómo responder a una pandemia era fundamental “por el bien de la humanidad”.
