Francesco Bagnaia is not allowing himself to think too far ahead despite his unofficial lap record at the Sepang MotoGP test.
Looking to become a three-time MotoGP champion in 2024, Bagnaia did his status as favourite no harm at the Sepang test.
Bagnaia was just one of four riders to break into the 1m 56s barrier, while his long run pace was also very impressive. “The condition today was incredible. I’m very happy for the work we did and we finished the schedule of all the things to try and the new bike is working very well. Bagnaia, who feels as though he’s very close to where he needs to be, will be focusing on power delivery as it remains similar to last year.
