Frank Grillo will join 'Peacemaker' season 2 as Rick Flag Sr. after he plays the character in animated form in upcoming series 'Creature Commandos,' James Gunn announced.

The director announced Friday that"Pleased to announce the great Frank Grillo will be reprising the role of Rick Flag, Sr — the role he’ll first play in animated form in," Gunn wrote on Threads.
Gunn seems to be hinting that Flag's father will be seeking some revenge infeatures a team of misfits working on secret missions for the U.S. government — except instead of supervillains, they're monsters. In addition to Grillo's Flag, Creature Commandos will star David Harbour as Frankenstein, Grillo is now one of the few actors to participate in both the Marvel Cinematic Universe and Gunn's burgeoning DC films.
