Lyndsey Cormack was last seen on Friday at 4:30am and police say her being away from home like this is 'out of character.'
A frantic search has been launched in an effort to trace a Scots woman who vanished in the early hours of Friday morning.
Police say Lyndsey Cormack, 38, has been missing from the Newton Stewart area of Dumfries and Galloway since 4.30am on Friday, September 8. Officers say this is completely 'out of character' and urge anyone with information on Lyndsey's whereabouts to come forward.Lyndsey is believed to be wearing a black Adidas long-sleeved top, black leggings, and black trainers with a white sole and pink or purple logo.
Top news stories today Constable Graeme Stewart, said: “Lyndsey has not been missing before and for her to be away from her home for this length of time is very much out of character. “She likes to go walking but tends to keep herself to the local area, so if you see her or have any information that may help us trace her, then please call officers via 101 quoting incident number 1363 of Friday, 8 August 2023.”
