Freddie Flintoff has involved in a nasty crash on December 13, 2022.

Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff has been spotted for the first time after being injured in a horror crash while filming for Top Gear.

The 45-year-old has since quit Top Gear and has now made a return to cricket where he made a rare public appearance on Friday. It was reported that Flintoff was 'lucky to be alive' following the incident. After the crash, the BBC halted filming on Top Gear, releasing a statement which read: “Under the circumstances, we feel it would be inappropriate to resume making series 34 of Top Gear at this time. We understand this will be disappointing for fans, but it is the right thing to do, and we’ll make a judgment about how best to continue later this year.

Former Top Gear presenter Angela Rippon told The Sun of the accident: "I was just so sorry as they [Freddie and his co-presenters] are not professional drivers and are asked to do things that even professional drivers very often would find difficult.
