Customers are being offered free cash just for switching their bank accounts
A number of high street banks are handing out up to £175 alongside other perks and benefits just for switching accounts. Through the Current Account Switch, which aims to make switching bank accounts, direct debits, and standing orders easier, banks are offering a number of bonuses.
Lloyds Bank - £175 free and Disney+ Lloyds Bank Club Lloyds account is offering £175 plus a choice between 12 months' worth of Disney+, six cinema tickets, a magazine subscription, or a Coffee Club & Gourmet Society membership. In order to qualify, customers can't have already received a switch reward from Lloyds, Bank of Scotland, or Halifax since April 2020.
First Direct - £175 free First Direct is offering £175 for free through its own 1st Account which also provides access to a connected regular saver. The savings account dishes out 7 per cent interest on a maximum of £300 per month and a 0 per cent overdraft of £250.
