Free blades are being thrown into £1 buy-one get-one-free offers online, as the UK grapples with its worst knife crime epidemic in years.
Customers would receive a foldable ‘free knife’ along with their purchase, which could be disguised as a credit card at the flick of a button.The knife was called a ‘free gift’ by the online seller The deal, which had been reduced from £12 to just £1, said: ‘Buy mask get knife free!’ Customers who purchased the offer seemed to be happy with the product, which is no longer available on the website.
