Two channels are confirmed to be shutting down, with one new major change due to come into force.
Freeview users who have switched on their televisions this morning may have noticed a couple of key channel changes.
According to an update on the Freeview website that one radio station and two entertainment channels will be removed from the guide. However, it's not all bad news, as there is also something new coming for customers to enjoy. Absolute Radio now joins six other stations that disappeared from the TV guide last month. These closures included Greatest Hits Radio, Hits Radio, Kerrang! Radio, KISS Fresh, KISSTORY and Magic Radio.
From today, those heading to channel 94 will now find a service called Seen on TV available. It's not yet known what this brand new channel will offer, but in order to access it, you must retune your television.
