The solo-vehicle collision happened Sunday night on eastbound Niles Canyon Road.
The solo-vehicle collision happened around 9:25 p.m. on eastbound Niles Canyon Road west of Palomares Canyon Road, the Fremont Police Department said in a news release.
Police said the motorcyclist – identified as a 65-year-old Fremont resident – hit the south guardrail protector and was thrown into the brush that borders Niles Canyon Creek.
