Witnesses claim a French border vessel escorted the overloaded dinghy over the border into British waters and left it there, despite the 'very choppy' conditions
A sinking dinghy overloaded with 12 migrants on a Channel crossing was escorted into British waters by French border guards before being "dumped", according to reports.
