The Friedkin Group, Everton's new owners, have given all club staff a Christmas bonus of £50 a day and have assured them that there are no plans for job cuts. The new owners, led by executive chairman Marc Watts, have outlined an ambitious plan to raise standards and increase commercial revenue, with a particular focus on the new Bramley-Moore dock stadium.
The Friedkin's Christmas gift is one of many positive signs coming out of the club. Employees were given a Christmas “gift” of £50 a day after completing their takeover as the new owners assured staff there are no plans for job cuts at the club.The bonus was given to every member of staff at Everton and charitable arm Everton in the Community, and was accompanied by an email thanking them for their hard work in difficult times at the club.
