Former Everton defender Richard Dunne has advised the club’s prospective new owners to keep Sean Dyche on as manager for the rest of the season. But the ex-Republic of Ireland international fears for the current Blues boss’ future next term.
The Dubliner, who made his debut for Everton as a 17-year-old before going on to make 431 Premier League appearances throughout his career, told BestBettingSites.co.uk: “I think when new owners come in, it's generally curtains for a manager. They normally want someone else to come in. “So, I think he will finish the season, and that’s what should happen. That would be the sensible thing for the new owners to do.”
He said: “Long term, new stadium, new ownership, it seems to me that it’s inevitable that they will appoint a new manager in the summer.
