A desperate community are doing anything they can to find her
Barely a stone's throw from police divers scouring the four-metre-deep River Wyre, children can be heard playing in the playground of St Michael's-on-Wyre Church of England Primary School.

"We just need to feel like we're doing something to help," the woman added.
View gallery Nicola, a mortgage advisor who "lived for her children", was last seen on the footpath which runs along the River Wyre. Her dog Willow was found alone by the riverbank while her phone, still connected to a work video meeting but with the camera and sound turned off, was found on a bench where now sits a bunch of pink tulips dropped off by a female dog walker this morning.
The diving team is today being supervised by PC Mark Shearman who explained that the river at the site isn't tidal because of a weir further downstream. However, given the depth of the river, and the changing water level, searches are being repeated.
