Stephen Lanza, a car crash survivor who doctors said would never walk again, has built a successful ice cream business catering to celebrity weddings around the world. He started with a cart in his hometown of Leek, Staffordshire, and now his company, Lanza's Ice Cream, has graced events for famous names like Kym Marsh, Joan Collins, and Denise Welch.
Doctors told Stephen Lanza he would never work, walk or drive after he was severely injured in a car crash in 1992.
"We've done Kym Marsh, we've been with Joan Collins, we've been out to Portugal to do Denise Welch's wedding."Mr Lanza was asleep in the front passenger seat of the car when it crashed on the A500 in 1992. "Everything is positive, everything is upbeat, considering I've come from the depths of despair. They buy into our lifestyle."
