Budget carrier Frontier Airlines announced a new nonstop route from DFW Airport to Boston beginning in August.

More than 1.3 million passengers have traveled between the two cities since June 2023, according to airline data company Cirium.sent an average of 386 flights per month between the cities. Delta and JetBlue, which each have a hub at Boston Logan, operate more than 220 combined trips between Boston and DFW each month, while Frontier’s low-cost competitor Spirit Airlines sends more than 50.DFW is one of Frontier’s busiest airport hubs and has rapidly grown its volume of flights across 2024.
