Taking that a positive step further, Ms Marvel - a Pakistani-American teen called Kamala Khan - is the company’s first live-action Muslim hero but with the show not out til late 2021 at the earliest details are sketchy. In the comics, Ms M is a protege of Captain Marvel, with appearance-altering powers and - naturally - her own logoed super clothes.
