Neighbours waiting on health appointments and licences as post fails to arrive
Residents in Levenshulme claim they have missed hospital appointments, passports, driving licences, and could miss bills due to not receiving any post for more than two weeks.
“My son flies out on 26 June, we were in a panic waiting for his passport to arrive. We could have lost a lot of money on tickets. "It’s worse than the postal strikes, because at least you expect delays - public departments tend to extend these referral dates ahead of them. It’s been really frustrating and it’s clear this has affected a lot of residents along the street,” the 25-year-old said.
