Fenway Sports Group (FSG) have amassed a huge sports empire over two decades, which includes Liverpool Football Club and Major League Baseball franchise Boston Red Sox
Liverpool owners Fenway Sports Group have always been ambitious, taking on multiple projects at once. The Reds have commanded a great deal of attention in recent seasons with a rebuild going through different stages, now another of their teams are due to undergo a similar procedure. After buying Liverpool on the brink of administration in 2010, FSG stabilised and transformed the club into one capable of winning every major honour available to them over a four-season period.
In this regard there are clear parallels between that team and Liverpool, and the Reds will want FSG to win even more titles at Anfield , just as they have done in Massachusetts. The Red Sox have claimed a further three championships since 2004, and regularly make the play-offs year after year. However, this fact has changed in recent times as they have failed to make the play-offs in the last three seasons.
